Fourth excursion of the 2021 season. We had a nice leisurely paddle with our friends who made a fantastic dinner afterwards.
Put-in:
Jaeger Park in McFarland has a nice free launch area with plenty of parking. No facilities. Take out at Lake Kegonsa at the concrete ramp at Fish Camp County Park. See previous blogs for details.
The Paddle:
The water was kind of green. There was a dredging boat and along the shore there was a barrier along the shore that we finally figured out was piping for the dredging process. Paddle took two hours as usual.
Wildlife sightings: heron, swallows, red-wing blackbirds, muskrats, turtles
